Overview
Nar Mof Hadfow was founded durring the late 10th century, by Ca̋chīkī Vúrmé̄̌s 'Sativa Ivory' Caw̋m Cä̂ Goīs. The establishment of Nar Mof Hadfow was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Nar Mof Hadfow's construction back out of the project. Ca̋chīkī Vúrmé̄̌s 'Sativa Ivory' Caw̋m Cä̂ Goīs pushed on reguardles, and Nar Mof Hadfow was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Nar Mof Hadfow was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the late 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Nar Mof Hadfow is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.
Nar Mof Hadfow is buildings are located arround a single narrow cobblestone mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the city a over all circular shape. The city rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. The millitarily questionable fortifications have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.
Nar Mof Hadfow seems to be abandoned at first. There are people present, working their trades and going about their business like any community, it’s just they are absurdly quiet. Just as you start to think there might be trouble, you see most of them are reading. The entire city feels like a library, with those not reading remaining quite to not disturb those who have their nose in a book. The longer you remain in Nar Mof Hadfow the more you start to wonder if you’ve entered some strange open-concept University rather than a city, but you can’t quite say such with certainty.
